Gay Acapulco
I’ve been lucky to have the opportunity to do a lot of traveling in my life. I’ve been many places in this world, but none of those experiences compare to the excellent time I had in Acapulco.
For starters, the folks in that area are some of the friendliest that I’ve encountered in all of my travels. The hotel staff too, was very friendly and provided five star services.
If you go to Acapulco you can’t leave without first going to one of the many beaches they have to offer. There are many options to choose from, and you’ll certainly be able to find exactly what you are looking for. If you like a busy feel to your beach experience, you can find many of those. If it is solitude you want, that can also be accommodated for.
My partner and I are very into fishing; however, we’ve never gone deep sea fishing before. So, we contacted a guide and we were taken out on a yacht. The yacht was well equipped with all the finest in modern fishing equipment. We were out on the water for about four and half hours. I caught a tuna within thirty minutes of setting up. After my catch and release, I landed a marlin, and was busy reeling it in for the remainder of the time we had on board! What a great experience thanks to the know how of our guide (and some modern fish finding equipment!). I would also like to say that the service we used was actually gay owned and gay friendly. Our guide was very respectful and courteous!
To satisfy the remainder of our adventurous outdoor spirit we went out and did some hiking. The Pacific Coast is a perfect place for this. Of the fifteen vegetation zones that exist in Mexico, seven are located in on the Pacific Coast. To say the least, there is a lot of plant diversity, which is sometimes a bit overwhelming to the senses. While on our hike we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the elusive jaguar, which was very exciting!
The nightlife in Acapulco is a very bustling scene. If you like an “active” night scene, than Acapulco is where you want to be. Acapulco is very friendly to gays, and there are many gay bars, discos, and clubs that you have to choose from. If you’re interested in a toned down experience, there are several bars to choose from which have live jazz, flamenco, or Spanish music.
Altogether, there is a lot to do in Acapulco. The reality; you won’t have enough time to do all the things you want because there is just so much to choose from. That’s part of the reason this was one of my all time favorite vacations. My partner and I will certainly be returning in the following years, and if you want to treat yourself right, I’d recommend that you check out Acapulco too!
