Gay Disneyland

The Happiest Place on Earth: Not Just for Kids.

When you think of Disneyland, you probably think of your childhood memories of your family’s summer vacation, your parents taking you on the Dumbo ride and all the fun that you, as a child, had. Then you probably think about how great it would be to feel that type of childhood excitement again. But, alas, you’re all grown up and your childhood is a thing of the past. You’re just simply too old. Wrong!

There’s a reason why Disneyland is called the happiest place on earth; because it is! I remember all my childhood memories of Disneyland, and as my family and I have grown up, we’re still able to make tons more “childhood” memories. Disneyland is a place where the oldest person in the park is also the oldest kid in the park. Disneyland is a place where that long lost child in all of us is able to let loose.

I just went to Disneyland with my family for my birthday. I turned 22 years old! Now I’m the second youngest in my family, so when it came time for me and my older siblings to have fun, we were not disappointed. Disneyland seriously is the place for children of all ages, even if you’re a 40 year old child. Just because you’re older doesn’t mean there aren’t things for you to do. Yes you may be funny looking on that Dumbo ride, but there are plenty of other rides to strike your fancy. Disneyland, while known for their children rides, is also well known for there several themed roller-coasters. Even though I’ve been on these roller coasters many a time, I still found myself excited like a little boy as I waited in line to get on.

There are also the famous shops and activity places along Main Street and throughout the park. Even if you just walk around the park, you are sure to be amazed at all the sights there are to see and feel like you 10 year old self again. There are also plenty of great restaurants to take an adventure in. As children at Disneyland, many times, food was the last thing on our mind, so food was always a quick grab at one of the park’s fast food places. But now as adults, indulge yourself! Go ahead and go to the Blue Bayou, or one of the many other fun and themed restaurants that Disneyland has to offer!

If you haven’t been to Disneyland in a while, you may be interested in checking out their new addition to the park California Adventure. California Adventure has even more sights for your inner child to take awe at, and many fun interactive things to do. Feed your need for fast rides with their “California Screamin’” ride and others. You can also learn how tortillas or sourdough bread are made. Head over to “Hollywood Pictures Backlot” and learn about the evolution of some of your favorite Disney characters; you can even learn how to draw them! California Adventure is a must for any Disneyland guest.

There’re always plenty of fun, new and exciting things to do at the park. So no matter how old you may be, you’re never too old to take a trip to Disneyland!
