A Helpful Guide of 5 Nighttime Activities on Your Gay Cruise.
Gay Cruises and Gay Friendly
Cruises to various
destinations, specifically approved by Travelocity for gay and lesbian travelers. They also offer gay
tested hotels.
The sun has set and now its time for the real fun. When
you’re on a cruise, most of the best activities happen at night, but shuffling through the long lists of
activities can be a grueling task. But, don’t worry, figuring
out what to do every night can be easier to decide when you know what to expect of what the cruise line has
set up for their guests.
1. One of the great things
about cruises is that you don’t have to search for something to do.
If you’re looking for a good show to see, they’ve got them. Musical
acts, comedians, and other performers are usually included on the ship for your viewing
entertainment. The ship has several theatres and stages where shows
are scheduled for throughout the night. Shows are scheduled
conveniently for you so that, once you step out of your concert, you can make your way to another theatre just
in time for the comedy act. If you’re wondering what kinds of acts
the ship has in store for you, just tune into the TV in your cabin for a list of scheduled
performances. Also, every night, your porter will deliver a “ship
newsletter” that will have the schedule of events for the next day.
Be sure to take a look at these, so you can schedule your night around who or what you really want to
see.
2. Not in the mood to just
watch music, but want to be apart of it? Well, make your way to the
nightclub on board and shake your money maker. The dance club is an
exciting place to be to get on the dance floor and boogie to your favorite songs. There’s also plenty of space for sitting if you need to take a quick
rest. The dance club and the several bars on ship are a great way
to not only hang out with your friends, but to meet new people too.
Meeting people in the clubs or bars on board is easy because you immediately have something in common, the
cruise!
3. Maybe dancing isn’t your
thing. You’re a singer. Well, don’t worry. You’ll have
plenty of time to show off your talents at one of the karaoke bars or open-mic bars. If you’ve been itching to sing your favorite “Journey” song then pop in the
karaoke bar and request your song and soon enough you’ll be the rock star, wowing everyone with your
skills! If you’re more of a “serious musician” stop on over at an
open-mic bar and wow everyone with your very own music. (But
remember to bring your own instrument.) If you think you can rival
the professional comedian playing in the other theatre, well treat the open-mic as your own laugh
factory. Everyone knows that when there’s open reign on the mic,
it’s going to be a good time!
4. So, you’ve just wowed everyone with your musical skills, and now you’re
looking to show off you card playing skills. Then make your way
over to the casino! The Vegas-style casino offers all the games you
would expect to find a Vegas hotel from slot machines to private games of Texas Hold ‘em. And don’t worry about it getting late, the casino stays open almost all
night!
5. You’ve just lost some money,
but you’re feeling hungry. Well don’t worry, there are plenty of
food options on board, and good news is its all FREE! If its early
enough you may wan to stop in the fine dining room, where the chefs are cooking up delicious gourmet
meals. You’ll eat like a king as you eat from their 3 course menu,
and don’t worry, you can order as much as you want. If it’s a bit
later in the evening stop on into the buffet dining room where you can take a dive into the vast array of meals
they have for you, including a 24-hour pizza bar. If you feel like
turning in for the night, but you need your midnight snack, feel free to call up room service and have them
bring you anything from their in-room menu. And remember, order as
much as you want!
No matter what your interests are, there’s no doubt there will always be something for you to
do. With the cruise ships huge range of activities, you’ll never
go bored!
