A trip to Delhi is incomplete without a visit to Raj Ghat, memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the
Nation and the supreme advocate of non-violence the world has ever seen. Situated in a park on the banks of river
Yamuna, it is a calm place and is away from the bustling city.
Another nice getaway would be the Lotus Temple, a Bahai house of worship and a spectacle of modern
architecture. True to its name, the structure is in the shape of a Lotus. It is one of the most visited buildings
in the world.
